General Electric Promotes Brother Luther Ingram to New Leadership

Congrats to Brother Luther Ingram for being promoted to AS General Electric Executive Director & Plant Manager for the AP3 Dishwasher Facility. PER GE’s Statement:Luther Ingram’s broad manufacturing experience across multiple companies and his collaborative leadership style will be key to continuing the overall growth for AP3 and driving specific initiatives like Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). In his most recent role as the Sr. Director, Injection Molding Center of Excellence Leader, Luther was instrumental in leading us through the challenges of COVID-19 in 2020. His team also made tremendous progress in plastics costing model, operational performance, robotics, and capacity expansion over his tenure. As a result of Luther’s leadership on Factory Master Planning, Robotics, and Operational Excellence, the COE is well-positioned for the future. Prior to joining GEA, Luther worked as the plant Manager at Troxel, an OEM supplier to the automotive industry, in operations and materials at GE Appliances at Decatur Plant Operations (DPO), and with Maytag and Whirlpool in multiple roles across several plants and product lines. Luther holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Findlay. He lives in Louisville with his wife and daughters.
